Drink one glass of water after waking

Every system in the body depends on water. So without proper hydration every system, organ, and tissue in the body is negatively affected.

While the “eight 8-ounce glasses a day” rule has been popular for years, the Institute of Medicine has determined that may not be enough. According to the Institute, adult males in a temperate climate need roughly 3 liters (about 13 glasses) per day, and 2.2 liters (about 9 glasses) for women. Chances are, most of us are not adequately hydrated based on these recommendations.

Resolve to start your day right by drinking a full glass of water after waking and before breakfast. This will give you a great head start on your daily hydration needs.
