Offshore Sailing School provides learn to sail vacations at five destinations where courses are packaged with accommodations and instruction is provided in full-day or half-day sessions on Colgate 26 sailboats. Developed by Steve Colgate for training, the Colgate 26 is a lively, sophisticated “keelboat” – which means it has considerable weight in a 4’6” lead fin beneath its hull and therefore, is a stable and safe boat to sail.
